Versus is an editorial design project exploring opposition through form and narrative. Through two antagonistic characters, Paula Scher vs Irma Boom, the project translates typographic rules, layout systems, and material form into a reflection on the boundaries between convention and experimentation in book design.
This editorial volume explores rebellion, expressiveness, and graphic disruption, drawing inspiration from Paula Scher’s approach to typography and visual language. Through experimental layouts and bold typographic behaviour, the project challenges editorial conventions while maintaining conceptual coherence.
